My husband (raised in Brazil) grew-up eating all of the various Portuguese yolk-filled desserts, there are so many unique recipes. While those desserts aren’t my favorites, I’m glad that they were developed to use all the excess egg yolks!

Oh that's so interesting! Yeah I've only tried the pasteis de nata but am super curious to try the others. And yeah some look awesome, while a couple others, well, I have questions!!

The color and extreme sweetness of the egg yolk-based Portuguese sweets is not my preference…I recently saw frozen pasteis de nata at Costco!
